First week on the MASW. Are you scared yet?

Hi to everyone on the MASW 2010 cohort.

As first weeks go I think we have hit the ground running. I have been delighted to meet so many lovely, kind and friendly people but am very aware that there are people I have yet to manage eye contact with let alone say hello. If you are one of those people please accept my apologies I think my brain is in overdrive and may be affected by the fact that I walked straight into a glass door this morning whilst trying to multi task.

As a more mature student, returning to university has been both scary and exhilerating and the potential for learning new skills and increasing my knowledge seems dauntingly endless. I would like to send a big thanks to those who have helped me this week not only with functional matters but also with the support of a friendly smile and the offer of jioning them for lunch.

All in all a good week, a little scary at times, a feeling I am sure will recur many times over the next two years. Good luck to everyone!!!
