About me

I am a Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) Degree Apprentice at Jaguar Land Rover, the UK’s largest automotive manufacturer, in the role of a software engineer. I am studying towards a BSc Digital Technology Solutions Degree at the University of Warwick alongside my role at Jaguar Land Rover. Currently, I am based in a team which is developing an internal web app for use by the business. My role currently involves testing the web app, both manually and using automation frameworks such as Cypress. I have also had development experience in this team using ReactJS. Furthermore, I am a member of the JLR Early Careers Innovations group where we get to work on exciting new projects for the business, alongside other apprentices and graduates. Roles in the Early Careers Innovations Group include software development and project management opportunities. My initial role at Jaguar Land Rover was within the infotainment team where I worked and tested on the award-winning PIVI Infotainment System. This role allowed me to develop skills related to developing test plans, test cases and executing test cases on the vehicles.
In addition to my work at Jaguar Land Rover I am also learning Firebase and Java Development in my spare time. View my GitHub profile to see what projects I’m working on: https://github.com/anealbening.
