Download WMP Podcast Plugin
Follow-up to Updated Podcasts in Media Player Plugin from codeMonkey.Weblog();
You can now download the plug–in. It's still in beta and comes with no guarantees, so use at your own risk. If you find any bugs, etc please let me know.
Enjoy!
EDIT
You must be using IE 7 (Beta 2) for this to work. The plug–in uses the new feed subscription feature of IE 7 to pull in podcasts. Subscribe to feeds within IE 7 and make sure you check the "Download attached files" box – this will make it download podcasts.

What error message do you get?
I am running it in on WMP11 on XP SP2 without any problem.

Do you have IE7 Beta 2 installed?

I didnt but have now (I'd not read anywhere you needed this) and his is just what I've been looking for thanks !
One thing which would be usefull is the ability to add the PODcasts into the Library so that you can sync to your player

I'm getting an error when I try to start the plugin. It's telling me that it can't cast Feeds.FeedManagerClass to Feeds.IFeedManager, and this is happening in your Feeds.FeedManagerClass.RootFolder getter.
The thing is, IE7 is now at beta 3, so I'm using that – I'm not sure if that's the issue or not. I doubt it, but it's the only thing I can see. I'm also using XP SP2, and WMP11.
BTW, what are you using to write your .msi? You could get it to detect IE7 (and the correct version of .NET) to avoid David's issue. Also, are you still thinking of opening the source for this?
Cheers

I think there were some CSLID changes with IE7 beta 3. I need to release a new build against the new beta. I'll try to get round to it next week. Thanks for the feedback.

Does IE7 need to be open for the feeds to download? is there a background process that can run to do this?

Man, if this thing worked for IE7B3, it'd be great. I'm really looking forward to this!

Hi, are you still working on this plugin? I was wondering if you are going to fix it to work with the most recent version of IE 7 (RC1 at the moment)? If so, that would be awesome. I am really looking forward to using this in WMP 11…Thanks…

Any chance, that you will publish the source code under an OS license? I think, that there is much interest in your work, so there will soon be a developer community around.
What do you think?

I echo previous comments. Why WMP11 doesn’t have this feature is beyond me, but you developing this would be excellent!

This plug-in would be great if it worked. Damn it Jim! Yet another peice of unnecessary software I have to add to my laptop. Anyway, for those who may be interested, check out Instant Media for downloading and playing podcasts. Plays your music too. Does everything Windows Media Player should do.
