Organizational structure
In a traditional organizational structure , we have the CEO and the directors below him divided in functional groups. Previously, I thought that this is the optimum structure. In today's class I came with the conclusion that it is not. directors start working against each other seeking only their functional area's benefit. Instead of working as a team together, people in my pervious organization lacked a coherence trying only to do their manager's interest not the organization's interest. What needs to be considered in my current organization a drastic change in the structure, as currently a significant time is wasted resolving conflicts between managers.
