Analysing Disadvantages

Whenever we analyse a method/process we need to avoid something that several authors forget doing... Differencing inherited disadvantage of a process from a practice generated disadantage. It is not the same that a process or method genuinly has a disadvantage that the practice of it has developed.

I've fallen several times on this mistake. Is easy to fall on it so we need to be extra cautios because a very good technique could be discarded because of the disadvantages others have fallen on because of their practice.

  1. But if there are too many unsuccessful practices, there is a possibility that this technique is not clear enough.
On the other hand, I agree you that it is very hard to pick out this mess.

  2. That is an interesting thought Orfil. If the theory says it should be like this but all of its practices says otherwise… Well I think it could be two options:
    1. All of its practitioners have done it incorrectly.
    2. Or actually, theory is incorrect
