I’m a Learning and Development Adviser at Warwick University. I took up my post in April 2009. Before coming to Warwick I was a researcher at Oxford University where I was working on two JISC-funded e-learning projects: Open Habitat (see http://www.tall.ox.ac.uk/research/current/habitat.php) and Isthmus (see http://www.tall.ox.ac.uk/research/current/isthmus.php). From 2003 to 2008 I worked at Oxford Brookes University where I ran two programmes in theology delivered by distance learning. I research and publish in three major areas: adult education, adult theological education, and e- and distance-learning. I am particularly interested in student-centred learning and in the processes of reflection, hence this blog.
