The way night's should be

Now that was good fun! was about to drive home from campus last night when i bumped into Milly outside the sports centre, so i offered her a lift home. Once we arrived she gave me a guided tour of the Prog Mansion and then her and her boyfriend Pablo proceeded to cook me a very tastey supper.

After I bid my farewells to them i headed onto the gig at 52b the Avenue and proceeded to have an awesome night hearing James Black play then chasing an American folk-punk banjo player around the house.

The Joy of winning competitions

well i woke up this morning and found i had a curious package waiting for me downstairs, the most curious thing about it was that it was from the BBC:

So i am intruieged, so i open the package to find a copy of the game Stolen in it:

I then remember a competion entered late one night a few weeks ago. I was listening to radio 5 live in the early hours, trying to get to sleep, and the IT section is on. I just catch the end competition which is to win the computer game Stolen, you had to give a brief, amusing, description of a film where a theft took place, the best one won. So i turn my pc on and enter with:

Four short fellows get into trouble trying to offload stollen jewlery

And W00T i won!!!!! So i am all happy now

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Well I love the radio series, love the book, like the tv show, and my opinion of the film is:

IT ROCKED!!!

Really amazing version of the story, and produced perfectly, keeping true to the original ideals, whilst changing things enough so that if you loved the old series you can still love them without the film getting in the way. The special effects were spectacular, they didnt even get in the way of the neuances of the script, which was Douglas Adams (may he rest in peace) at his best.

There was even a surprise apearence by the orignal Marvin from the TV series.

I reccomend going to see this film immediately, I give it 10/10

Even more happiness, in 1 day! ARCHMAGE IS BACK!!!!!

Well its a different name, but pretty much the same game!!!

For those that dont know, Archmage is a turn base Massively Multiplayer strategy game where you are a mage in charge of a magical kingdom and you have to explore, build, cast spells, goto war and so on to advance your kingdom to being the best in the world. In its hayday (before it was taken down) there were about 60 000 players online, and (trying not to sound big headed) I was number 1 :D:D:D however the old game died 4 years ago.

Its been a while, but more happiness: Finishing Coursework!!!

Well yes we all hate coursework, however we all have to admit that not much beats the feeling of handing in a completed piece of work and getting it off of your back. Especially a 15k word group project that you only started 5 days before. well thats me done till the exams, time for a short holiday.

Much pleasure of JumpGate

Well this is a game i have wasted many hours of my life playing, to be exact as i write this post it stands at 689.9 hours. However i hope this shows how addictive it is and how much pleasure i have gained from it.

JumpGate is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Roll Playing Game), well thats technically, to be honest its not massive as its more a community of good friends now, and the rollplaying is what you make of it; however its still a brilliant game.

It is a space simulater very similar to the old game Elite, but with far better graphics, much more to do and its all online angainst real players.

In the game you can fight, trade, mine, scout, run transports, claim sectors of the galexy for your own and much more, as well as joining squads and entering large galactic wars. The best bit is that unlike similar games, ie Eve, you actually fly your ship!!!
