URSS progress – Introduction & Week 1

I had originally planned to do a bit of background and how the project is going on here, but unfortunately because of my terrible habit to waffle on and on and on and on and on and on and on I somehow manged to make an entry 5 times over the blog limit :<! But rather than start again I thought I'd just make it a pdf and link it here. But to be honest it's more for me than for anyone else, but don't be scared to give it a go! :D
