My Ill Car
I've just had a phonecall from the garage doing my car's MOT.
It has failed on its brake pads and two suspension arms.
I am sad.
It will cost nearly £400 to get fixed.
It looks like I will be walking to work this week…

[Skip to the latest comment]Poor Ali!
It's quite ironic that one of the safest drivers I know gets a massive bill for brakes and suspension…I reckon you must have been going out for secret races at night when I'm not looking! :–p

I blame the road humps that I travel over every day on Tile Hill Lane…even at 20mph they must hurt my poor car!

That's rubbish Ali. Good thing you're so filty rich so can afford it! ;)
Not sure about the humps on that road, i travel over them at 20–30 every day and the metromobile passed its MOT a couple of weeks ago.
If you want a consolatory drink on campus anypoint, give me a text as I'm usually around for the next couple of weeks.

Funnily enough, I've not tried calpol on a car, but I agree it is tasty!
