Big Question…
Writing about web page http://www.answers.com/main/ntquery?dsid=1555&dekey=I0157400&linktext=inquire
Ok…I'm getting really confused…
If you had a form for people to make an enquiry, would the form be callled an "Inquiry form" or an "Enquiry form"?
The OED has them as equivalents. Personally, I'd prefer enquiry, because inquiry always makes me think of a public inquiry.

I'm pretty sure it should be enquiry.

Yay! Grammar related questions are my forte!!!!!! I was so excited that you asked a question and I knew the answer that I actually made a little whooping sound and then giggled in a uni computer room. I don't know about Warwick, but in York, even making a tapping noise on the keys is a computer room faux pas, but never mind, they'll get over it, and even if they don't I'm off to work soon, so they'll cope.
Anyway, the answer was already given above– it matters little but enquiry is nicer….
And now I shall go and not waffle on your blog any more…

Hmmm…apparently this blog has been here for quite sometime – I feel rather silly for not having known about it before Tuesday's rehearsal. Inquiry/Enquiry – I love those questions that make you stare at the screen repeating both possibilities incessantly and then settle on enquiry before turning to the comments page to find you've been beaten to it by at least 3 people. Harumph!

Thanks for the help everyone!
I've decided to say "Make an Enquiry" as I thought it sounded more friendly.
