More Qualative Theory of ODE's

Follow-up to Qualative Theory of ODE's from Alex's Worst Blog Ever.

Well finished reading the notes now, hmm is quite a hard module, dont really understand all of it, going have to try some of the exercises in a bit and see if that makes anything clearer.

And ive still got Topology, Maths Bio, Ergodic Theory and Network Models to go!

Qualative Theory of ODE's

Dont know if anyone else is doing this module. Its really boring though so I recomend against it. Im currently going through the notes I made in the lectures. Due to the half awake state I was in througout most of the lectures the notes aren't particularly brillent so I keep on having to decipher what I should have been writing down. Their is still loads of bits I dont get, the PBT theorm for one, and the Implicit Function Theorem keeps on poping up in proofs but I never got what that was last year let alone been able to recall it now :( All in all not going too well!

Bored Now – I nicked this idea from another blog!

1. Were you named after anyone? Yeah after anyone who was born before me!
2. Do you wish on stars? Nah too far away, even traveling at the speed of light it would take you years to get to them!
3. When did you last cry? Not too sure if you mean real crying, though I watched an episode of 'Prisoner' early today and that theme tune always gets me down.
4. Do you like your handwriting?Well it does it Job, thats all that matter.
5. What is your favourite meat? Chicken probally maybee fish.
6. What is your most embarrassing CD on your shelf? "Who's Doctor Who" some compalation of Doctor who themed songs from the sixties!
7. If you were another person, would YOU be friends with you? Depends who I was, probally though I would hope!
8.Are you a daredevil? Nah
9. How do you release anger? Being sarcasting, mumbling, listing to music.
10. Where is your second home? London, I guess.
11. Do you trust others easily? Yes unless I have that trust broken.
12. What was your favourite toy as a child? My Transformers :D
13. What class in school/college do you think is totally useless? None of them they all had their uses!
14. Do you use sarcasm a lot? I use sacasm more then the sarcastic monks or Sacastistan!
15. Have you ever been in a mosh pit? No
16. What do you look for in a guy/girl? Good sense of Human, friendly, I have to get on with them well!

Intresting Theory

If your a fan of the film Fight Club and the comic strip adventures of Calvin and Hobbes I recomend checking out this link, its provides an intresting theory linking the two and its quite funny too :D

BTW, I would not recomend clicking that link If you have not seen Fight Club (I would also recomend going out and watching the film it is quite amazing), as it spoils one of the main plot points.
