I always like when short films become movies in the big screen. It reveals that a young writer/director had a really great idea that deserves to be seen by many people. In this case it really deserves it. This movie is one of the best I 've seen this year. It is a romantic comedy but also contains some great dramatic sequences and an astonishing direction by Sean Ellis. Starts with an unforgettable scene when you see the hero's ex-girlfriend shouting against him but the only thing you hear is classical music.

Plot: Our hero is a 20-year-old guy in an art school, studying painting. After a painful break up with his girlfriend, he has totally freaked out and developed insomnia. Since he's broke as well, he decides to work the late night shift in the local supermarket... His artistic imagination in addition with the weird and colorful people working there, creates a very entertaining story...

Watch it if you liked Garden State, The Last Kiss and Little Miss Sunshine.
