Google Wave Trial
Google wave arrived. A quick glance:
1. It is a quite a diffenret experience: feels like outlook somehow but everything was synced to all the participants.
2. The way they organise the display was great! Settings are also designed as sort of chat, use the same window, etc. The replay function is so useful to help you to track the conversion you missed.
3. It is very handy to just drag and drop stuff on the chat panel, photos, videos, files, links, you name it.
4. User access to diffenrece waves are great! way better than any other IMs.
now the cons:
5. it is extremely slow!!! And very picky about explorers. A conversation with hundreds of replys takes 30 seconds to load on Firefox. But only about 5-10 sec on Chrome.
6. Wave sync what you are typing, so whatever you are typing, they are visible for all the others in this wave. That's really bad from my point of view, now I need somewhere to type my messages before I actually want to send them out, or think much more carefully!
