CCM in the Birmingham Post | CompeteFor joins race for Olympic Gold

CCM in the News Again - Birmingham Post

Take a look at todays Birmingham Post – It looks like an imposter (sorry competitor) has arrived in town.

CCM set up www.ready-for-business.co.uk over a year ago to help West Midlands companies find tenders related to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Since then we have sniffed out approximately 100 related tenders and published them for our members.

We have also held numerous Prepare for 2012 seminars around the region in conjunction with Advantage West Midlands (AWM) and the West Midlands Business Council.

Well, Compete For will now be joining the race to help businesses win Olympic Gold. This national site at www.competefor.com will enable registered companies to access top-tier and lower-tier contracts from London 2012. Higher tier contractors and businesses in their supply chains will be encouraged to publish their Games-related opportunities there too.

I hope the additional investment made by AWM for this site, will prove to be a useful resource for Midlands firms.

Gavin of Craftwork Services finds the CCM Tender Service

Writing about web page http://www.tender-alerts.co.uk

Gavin Byram discovers that CCM’s Tender Alerts “is perfect for us”.

Gavin Byram of Craftwork Services near Uttoxeter was on a mission. He was on the
search for a large refurbishment tender from Scotland that he had heard of and
found a tender on the CCM site. He called the office looking for clues. Was it
the refurbishment of the Assembley Rooms in Edinburgh? We couldn’t say but suggested
that he register for free and search for tenders so that he could find the complete
details. He will also find 2 tenders for the assembly rooms and 2 for the University of Edinburgh in the 6 found with “refurbishment edinburgh”. Gavin responded; “This is fantastic, brilliant.
Craftwork Services Ltd are rapidly becoming known within the UK Construction Industry as one of the leading suppliers of Architectural Encasement Systems and Pre-formed Plywood / MDF Profiles.

When Gavin explained that they had a successful track record in winning public construction tenders we explained about our tender alerts service.
Using keywords that describe their areas of interest he can get regular email alerts when tenders of interest are posted. “This is perfect for us”,
agreed Gavin.

CCM can help eligible companies to set up a number of effective Tender Alerts but any EC based company can use the service. To find out more go to the CCM Site or our Tender Alerts site.

With Gavin being so enthusiastic I asked him for permission to quote him. He also reminded me that this excellent free service that the site provides is the source of most of our conversions, the registrations on the system. To get the best out of the tenders service visitors need to log in.
