Warwick Students / Prospective Students – Welcome to the WGA Blog

Are you a current Warwick student?
Share your views on life at Warwick and how things really are with past students and prospective students. They all want to know how it really is – not just the stuff in the prospectus or the alumni magazines. What things are the same? What has changed?
Would you like to ask them some questions? What is life like in the big world? What can you do now that will help? What must you do before you leave?
Post it on this blog and make new friends!

Warwick Graduates – Welcome to the WGA blog!

Hi there,

We are thinking about improving our services for our recent graduates and therefore, we would really like you to let us know what sort of things you would like the association to organise for you: be it reunions, careers support, mentoring or anything else.

What is it our recent graduates are really interested in? What are they up to?

May be you would also like to tell current Warwick students how life after Warwick has treated you? Has being part of the Warwick community helped you at all? What is different about being a Warwick graduate? How do you keep in touch with the University and your friends?

We would also like you to use this blog to let us and your Warwick friends know your views on any other subject which takes your fancy. Maybe you would like to know what certain places or employers are like? Maybe your are thinking about further study and would like to find out from other graduates what they did? Or may be you would like to share your recent holidays stories and snaps and tell us about your latest read? Or have you just done something extra-ordinary you would like to tell your friends about? It doesn't matter what it is – Blog it!

It's up to you. This is YOUR BLOG. Please use it!

Remember – The support you get from Warwick need not end when you graduate. All alumni who have enjoyed the benefit of an education at Warwick, be it on a degree course, a diploma or a certificate, automatically become members of the Warwick Graduates' Association (WGA) and have available to them a variety of services and contacts via the University.

In addition to this automatic membership, alumni can choose to take out subscription membership that entitles them to additional benefits as well as helping to support current students through some excellent and very worthwhile projects. Check out the Warwick Graduates' Assocation website when you have a moment. It's just for you!

You can also have a say in how your Association is run by attending the AGM and getting involved with the Executive Committee and WGA Graduate Council.
