Meriden excursion

Another evening ride, this time in the opposite direction from the previous rides – to Meriden and back:

Nice, reasonably quiet, country lanes, a few hills to keep the legs busy, and some nice scenery to keep from getting bored. Meriden also has a Cyclists War Memorial, so it seems an appropriate place to cycle to!

I actually had to put my lights on part way round, because it was getting a bit dark by 8:30. It was fortunate I had decided to take them. But that did mean I got a good view of the Moon, which was a nice pink colour last night.

10.3 miles, 41 minutes. By the time you add the 3.5 miles round trip from University House to my house, that makes it about 14 miles, and just about an hour – doable as a lunchtime excursion, if anybody feels the urge.
