It was really too hot today, but…

I went out for a shortish lunchtime ride anyway, this time heading to Stoneleigh for a change. A fairly straightforward route, since it was too hot for a major ride:

Distance: 8.1 miles, time: 36 minutes, average 13.5 mph.

Last summer, Chris May suggested heading out this way, but including Bubbenhall and Baginton. I'll probably do that one day when I'm feeling more energetic, and it is a little cooler. Looks like it would add another couple of miles or so to the journey.

And I could tack Stoneleigh on to my current longest morning ride in my ongoing aim for the ultimate über diversion:-)
