Christmas Shopping

So it is finally far enough into December that I have started doing my Christmas shopping. I feel now is a good time to start as it is beginning to feel like Christmas. September or October is way too early.

A wonderful place for Christmas presents is of course amazon.co.uk, unfortunately it is very easy to spend lots of money online because it is very easy to click. I spent over £50 from the comfort of my bedroom this week. But is was cheaper than Waterstones.

Today it was the turn of the high street shops to be honoured by my presence. Unsurprisingly it was very busy, but it didn't take me as long as I had anticipated, mainly because I am very good at avoiding queues. I am intelligent enough to at least try and go for the shortest one.

I never understand why people wait longer than they have to. Do they enjoy queueing? Many people often seem to fall asleep when queueing, leaving the poor shop assistants shouting 'next please' in vain.

Anyway, small diversion there. I have now done almost all my Christmas shopping, still waiting for the things from amazon to arrive. Now to write the Christmas cards!
