Damn graduate status

Can everyone please stop writing posts where only staff/students are allowed to comment. It's making me sad.

Yeah, we're stuck in an unforgiving no–man's land between being Warwick people and strangers.

The option of allowing external users to comment/view entries does appear to me missing. An oversight when they set up the externa:alumni accounts which presumambly will be corrected at some stage.

    An oversight

    My ass! :)

It's been explained elsewhere… lots of times… but the External: Alumni group is a luxury provided to those who request it until WGA decide to allow us to connect to their systems.

  5. Sorry, it's just that if anybody's allowed to comment then you get some idiot leaving stupid comments.

  11. Woah, i didn't mean to do that there!

  12. @ Mat primarily: Can we be a bit "proactive" here – if the WGA is supposed to be our association, can you give us the name/email address of the right person to contact to help speed the process up? Perhaps in a nice new entry that all us frustrated graduates can see?

I know it's a less technically satisfactory solution, but if the "staff/students" restriction was changed to effectively "anybody signed in", wouldn't that work too?
