The Big Fat Blog Entry Of The Year 2005
Writing about web page /mmannion/entry/review_of_2005/
Everyone else seems to do (or have done) this kind of thing, and I’m not one to shy away from a potential bandwagon, plus I had the idea for the title and it amused me. I’m sure I’m not the first one to think of it, though…
January
I probably had an exam or two… but I’m not sure. Actually, I don’t think I did; that was my first year. I was also told off by the then Union President for ‘promoting’ RON in a comment on my blog.
February
My term in office as WSC’s Chief Duty Manager ended. I finaly got some sleep…
March
Easter happened. I had chocolate. The clocks went forward, too. I started using Firefox, and the key for my bike lock snapped.
April
I managed to avoid April Fools Day, I finished building Djelibeybi, and I failed some exams (Quantum and two Maths, I think they were) and a driving test.
May
I won the election for WSC’s IT Officer, and I was disapointed by the Hitchhiker’s film.
June
I enjoyed The League of Gentlemen’s Apocalypse, and I had a birthday. My 20th, I think; I can never remember… What year it is? 2005. Yes, 20th. My second year of University also came to an end.
July
I spent the time at home not doing any University work, and enjoying every minute of it, I solved the problem of the Chicken and the Egg, I discoverd the most popular way to put toilet rolls on the holder, and finally passed my driving test.
August
I spent more time at home doing no work, I bought the box-set of Crime Traveller and Bugs, and found that people’s preference is for a PC.
September
I discovered that Firefox is better than IE, I proved the moon landing happened, and I got another puncture
October
I got another puncture, I immensely enjoyed Serenity, and I recieved a huge list of fines for the previous academic year.
November
I made a poster on Tunamis, I ranted about Bar Food, I went AllNight, I got a free lunch, I discovered how much my blog was worth, and I was annoyed by loud fireworks,
December
Christmas happened, I enjoyed The Christmas Invasion, and I wrote a blog entry summarising my year.
Quite a productive year, I think…
