It's not spam, dammit!

I don't like the new style of comment–alert emails; they have the from as the commenter. The old ones were marked as from me and to me, which was fine, but the new ones are getting picked up as spam by Gmail. I'm sure it'll learn eventually, but for now it's just annoying.

I have no idea why that would happen, but I'm sorry?

  2. I'm pretty certain the reason is that Gmail is seeing many emails with the same subject, but different senders; this usualy means the emails are spam. I just have to tell Gmail that in this instance they're good emails.

I guess so, hmm. Silly Gmail. (Shouldn't they go to your Warwick one anyway?)

  4. They do; but I have all my email accounts forward mail to Gmail.

Touch wood, it seems to be learning; your two comments here got through ok.

  1. Education is a wonderful thing...

Gmail appears to have learned; the comment emails seem to be getting through.
