Confetti – Found this absolutely hilarious, always get a bit nervous when seeing Jimmy Carr in something but the role fit him very well. Dragged on a bit in the middle but all in all very funny.

Mitchell and Webb S03E06 – Pretty good episode, the sketch in the prison was absolutely hilarious and such a truism.

Dragons Den S07E01 – The Rupert geezer was obv hilariously mental and Peter Jones missed an epic spot with the outdoor heaters by being an absolute cunt about it. lol at asking for a million to develop some vodka, ya cos you could compete there… Looking forward to next weeks episode when JJ Hazan the poker player gets what looks to be an absolute slating from the dragons.

Penn and Teller Bullshit S07E04 – They go round looking at why the world is going to end in 2012. Pretty amusing, best part was when some obvious wackjob is talking about his past jobs and says “you name it, i’ll do it” to which Teller quips “ok then, paint my house”.

The Real Hustle S07E09 – Pretty shit episode imo. Stealing the car was quite good and lol at the fake notes market stall thing. Absolute bullshit, is so so rare that notes get turned away that i’d tell them to do one if they said that to me. Although not really much you can do once you’ve given them the 20 to be fair to the east ender who thought he’d never get done. Moron.

Conan O’Brien 14/07/09 – Michael Phelps and some woman. Glad they didn’t dilly dally around Phelps being caught with a bong and got a couple of good jokes in. Shame they didn’t bring up poker though.

10 Things I Hate About You S01E02 – I have no idea why I watch this heap of shit.

Entourage S06E01 – I’m so happy I spent most of the exam period catching up with this. This is a MUST SEE program imo and am so glad the new series is out. The first ep was shit though, but was obviously building up for later episodes. Am somewhat looking forward to watching the gay asian dude do a load of ridiculous tasks but hope it doesn’t drag out too much.

Back at uni

Back in Coventry with the swanky 22mbit O2 connection (for £7.50 a month!) so have been downloading arrested development, although the 3rd series only took about 30 minutes to download… So going to have to fill my days some way other than watching progress bars.

My monitor made it in one piece, although it has gained a hairline scratch. Still, i’ve had worse.

In other news…

I did end up going to Amsterdam for a couple of days and it was very fun. I did a combined video with 5 other Warwick guys for poker soc which will be out soon, Kader is manipulating them to the point where even your Cambodian mill owner would be jealous. I played ok (by my cash game standards) but my commentary was terrible because I was too busy shitting myself in the biggest online donkament i’ve ever played: the $1k WCOOP. I was backed into it but didn’t really catch much then busted out when someone snap called my shove and won (99vsKQ).

I’m taking note of Arsenal being top with a game in hand. And how about that Spurs side that everyone was telling me would finish top 4? Anyone know how they’re doing? I don’t envy Chelsea fans right now either! I’ll be telling you that it was never in doubt when we take it down with 15 matches remaining.

Note to Econ department (and any others that do this): it would be really really awesome if you released the results of resits rather than just telling us whether we got in or not. I can’t help but conspire that I got in purely on my good looks, and am desperately interested to know how I scored on the exam, even if I am a solid 9.

Thankfully, there is a world of TV for me to start downloading soon. New Lost/Scrubs/Simpsons has me very excited. Also I still need to watch Heroes season 1, but that will be after Weeds season 2 which I have taken a liking to. Ugh, I also need to get through numb3rs at some point as well. Time to fire up those SNGs…

I’ll be away for a couple of days, so I fully expect to have >100 facebook notifications when I get back. And hopefully less than half of them will be someone trying to bite me with their fucking mythical vampire. Fuck off with that shit PLEASE.
