Update on the new year's stuff

Back in January I made myself the following targets:

- to make more of an effort to visit my friends (particularly those who live far away)

Update: Have made arrangements to go to London to see one of my friends on Saturday who I haven’t seen for ages, and am going to stay with two other friends in 2 weeks time. Also will be seeing my friends’ new baby before Easter. So quite good progress there.

- to decorate my house and hence develop my diy skills

Update: I did the hall, stairs and landing at the end of January with only a little bit of help…and am tackling the lounge over Easter. Target going well so far.

- to save up and get my upstairs’ double glazing done in the Spring, and the kitchen done this time next year

Update: Upstairs windows have been installed (hurrah!). Kitchen saving is beginning. Am going to take a trip to B&Q on Sunday to get an idea of prices etc. so I know how much I need to save.

All in all feeling rather pleased with myself. We ignore the fact that I have only been to popmobility twice since Christmas (a shocking statistic) and have taken virtually NO other exercise at all. However, I have upped my fruit and veg intake to compensate.

The sunny weather is making life seem so much better! Apple is more active (and looking much slimmer I think!).....another weigh-in at the vet tomorrow so fingers crossed the podge is still de-podging! :)
