I swore I never would…

...but I am going to be doing DIY all over bank holiday weekend!

I know….I’m officially an old person. I used to point and laugh at the hoards of people swarming into garden centres and B&Q on a bank holiday weekend thinking ‘how sad are you!’ and look at me now??
Oh well. I’m proud. I accept the fact that I find doing up my house rewarding and satisfying.

I spent 7 hours on Monday (my DAY OFF!) painting the side fence and despite exhausting myself I felt so pleased!! This weekend the parentals are coming and we’re tackling the lounge. Hopefully the weather will be ok so we can put the furniture in the garden (there’s nowhere else for it to go!)

Other than that I am now saving up hard for my new kitchen! Been looking at some possible designs so just have to save up the cash now.
Sigh. I’m always saving up for something!
