This post's for you Axl

[Axl Rose] sleeps all day and stays up all night, combing the internet for mentions of his name.
So here you go Axl…another new mention to get riled up by.
Nothing much to say about you if I’m honest…except no matter how good November Rain was…after 10 years spent writing this new album, it’d better be bluddy, bluddy amazing.
March 6th is the big day

November Rain is one of the worst G’n’R singles out there, and a truly terrible overblown pile of poo.
Still better than all the tosh out today though. Roll on March!

Overblown?
Too bluddy right and much better for it.
Guitar + orchestra is almost always a good sign in my book!

Lol – I haven’t heard November Rain for ages. I use to hate it, but now I have come round to loving it. I’ve heard Slash’s three solos combine to make the greatest amount of soloing on any US Top 10 hit. Anyway it must be cool, Regina Spektor likes it – “And on the radio/You hear November Rain/That solo’s awful long/But it’s a good refrain”

November Rain is by far the best GnR song, several orders of magnitude better than the annoyance that is Welcome to the Jungle

It’s better than Welcome to the Jungle, but you’re deluded if you think it’s their best song.

I’ve found another great quote from him about the new album:
“If you’re waiting…don’t. Live your life.”
Does he really think there are people who pour so much of their energy into waiting for the GnR album, it actually prevents them from living their lives?

He’s in America; you have to warn people that a packet of peanuts “contains nuts”! If he didn’t tell people to live, he’d probably get sued…
If the rumour is actually true, I wonder what he would comment on this entry?

I was brought up with the Guns ‘n’ Roses albums so my favourites and most listened to are oddly incongruous to the ones people always go on about. I’ve been known to say “Sweet Child of Mine? Which one is that again?”. That was before I realised it’s the one everyone knows.

Slaps Andy
Andy mate…. Knocking on Heaven’s Door… Live and Let Die… Slaps Andy Again
If we’re talking about majorly overrated songs… next stop is The Beatles. I love some of their songs but most of their (to me) shitty songs seem to crop up in all sorts of Top X lists and People’s faves… Just give me a dose of We can work it out and Hello, Goodbye and I’m a happy camper.

November Rain is half a good song (the second half).
IMHO It Ain’t Easy or Mr. Brownstone are the best GnR songs.
Based on the ‘leaks’ that happened last year and seeing them live, I hold out little hope for the new album. The most generous thing is that they sounded like mediocre Staind songs. Oh dear.

Hamid, they don’t count since they’re covers.
November Rain is the closest GnR ever got to Prog which as everyone knows is the superior type of music.

Live and Let Die is possibly the worst cover in the history of covers anyway.
