Greek calypso

Greek calypso (7.LVII.i).

A calypso is a popular kind of satirical West Indian ballad (Bib:CCD); here, Walcott also refers to Kalypso, who holds Odysseus captive on her island (Odyssey 5 and 6:245-47).
