One Hell of a week!! – no regrets!

Had the best and most expensive week at warwick over the last few days and met loads of people and had so much fun! Overdraft hates me but im having fun and exams finished so who cares?!?! This is my general log of the best week at warwick I had so far:

Thurs 8th June – Finished exams yesterday. Had long lie–in knowing I was goin to Rainbows tonight with cool people i met from pride on monday. Expected to meet even more new people and did and I even managed to pull woo–hoo!

Friday 9th June – Got pissed last night on drinks not suitable for diabetics… I'm diabetic but felt fine so its all gud! No hangover but tired. Brought some mates back to cryfield n didnt go bed til 9am so slept for ages then woke up, showered, ate, n film. chilled night in. Started watching Schindlers list for first time ever n got sooooooo depressed I had to turn it off. I may watch it beginnin to end sumtime but not yet.

Saturday 10th June – Thought I was stayin in saving money but then mate from upstairs reminded me its her birthday n we were goin to skooldayz (which i love anyway) and i had 5 mins to get ready!! Scandalous! She knocked on my door 30 secs later n sed we were going. Quickest I have ever got ready n looked presentable! Lol! Was cool tho n great time was had by all! Happy Birthday Laura Moszarska (pure guess at spellin of surname! polish people so inconsiderate with names – how we ever suposed to guess how to spell them!?? stayed up chattin for hours with cryfielders!

Sunday 11th June – Lack of real night–time sleep gettin to me so slept today. Expected to be doin RAG quiz with pride people but didnt hapen – no–one had time or interest so I stayed in n watched friends etc.

Monday – Pride xanana coffee social 4–6 then went home and new french guys cooked for all people in our corridor in cryfield! Nice gesture n good food. one of them joined us for Top Banana. I went with people from cryfield n was ok til i realised i had been there for half hour without drinkin or dancing because the group were insistent neither could be done til everyone had returned from cloak room and toilets and finding people that had wandered off. I gave up n went in search of pride people! Met a few there and had a laff. Bit of an incident after top B but mostly sorted now n sanity restored etc!

Tuesday – shit – forgot I had to work (simulator patient) this morning at 8am n didnt go bed til 4am after sorting out incident after top B. Feeli shattered all day n vow i will stay in tonight to save money n get early night! All goes to plan n i got some sleep. not quite 8 hrs but enuff to function at work on wednesday so im fine with that. I had two sets of twins today and developed a whole new family with polycystic kidneys in morning and sickle cell anaemia iin afternoon!

Wednesday – Work all day (haemophilia and polycystic kidneys again!) seemed to go ok. feel a bit tired so meet my mate n go varsity for a drink. go home n im soooooo bored at home. Make silly mistake of goin out with cryfielders to IKON in coventry. Had loads of fun and they r all cool ppl BUT tired tired tired. went with Lisa Evans, Laura Fountain, Shivani Jacelon, Anne, Clarissa Forbes, sexy Simon Robinson, Ben Ogborne,Thomas Miles, Andy Young and Chris Brooksby. At one point me and Ben decided that coz we were gonna be up early on thurs we wud just chill out n rest our eyes instead of usin all energy on dancing. Was nice n relaxed but then we got asked to leave by security! they thought we were passed out high n drunk n on the basis ben n i were stone cold sober I asked to speak to manager! She let us back in after I blagged her and securities heads! Chucked out for resting our eyes! Heard a lot of anthems at IKON and shivani was a bit upset when vindaloo n 3 lions came on!! we were playing trinidad n tobago in world cup next day.... sorry shivani! i cant believe that on bens first night in a night club we got chuckd out! oh well, we fully intended to rebel at sum point n this was it! lol there r some cool pics in gallery (or there will be when i upload them in next half hour!!) check left hand side and its got bens name in title!

Thursday – Planned to go rainbows tonight since last week n it was cool was tired coz worked all day (sickle cell anaemia and haemophilia again!) I stayed sober n so did ciaran! we did good but atmosphere wasnt quite same as last week n i didnt pull… damn not playin drinking games…. :'( Oh well, done now n got sum sleep before …

Friday – LIPsoc exec meetin n exec foto! (not a good decision coz look shit after limited sleep! mate and I passed out on my bed so wasnt best nights sleep ever but was cool! Love u stevie D! – he got masisve guns u know!) Ciarans party tonight but going to lipsoc social before that. so busy n tired. gonna slepe this afternoon before social and ciarans party! any party of jons n ciarans will be a late one n i aint gonna lose out by being tired so now (at time of this goin to press, i am goin to bed! yes i know its 3pm!! –im soooooooo nocturnal!!)

so spent loads of money (entry to venues, taxis, drink all adds up).
term aint finished n overdraft hates me right now! oh well one week left n im damned if im gonna miss out on my best uni days! gonna be economical but happy!!!!!!!!

Amiche Italiane

I have to be honest, italian is not one of my strong points! (im crap!) but i am always willing to learn and my teachers are my best friends chiara tumino, chiara de barbieri paola capriotti and laura rabottini. Their pictures are in their gallery labelled amicas italianas! 4 hot girls, intelligent, kind sweet and generous but most of all – they are so funny!! (*private joke!) i just want to say a big thank you and send big hugs and kisses to them all coz i love them!! xxx voi voglio bene!!

Ines is leaving! sob sob

Ines Ramos-Diaz is leaving at the end of term one as her eramus time comes to an end, sob sob

The quiet little spaniard was never to be seen and comented that her new home is the computer centre! Awwww!

She learned a lot of italian from chiara 1, chiara 2, laura and paola but was not happy here and so we say "buen viaje y te hecharemos de menos guapa!"

Cryfield Reunion – October 6th 2005

WHAT AN EVENING! FORGET SOCIETY SOCIALS, WHO NEEDS THEM WHEN U GET UR MATES TOGETHER N GO TO THE CITY ARMS IN EARLSDON, COVENTRY?

Most of us made it

(from left -> jim, marie, mike, kosta standing , jason kneeling, kate sofa, tom and carol sofa, alex next to kosta, will, me and kate.

dan, signe, arran and jodie couldn't make it unfortunately.

Tom had come up from London to see Carol and so we managed to get 3/4 of our original corridor there! Cool huh? This year carol, marie, katy, alex and catherine are in one house, arran and jodie in another, kosta, jason, will, mike and jim in another and me on campus! kate is living with her sister and dan is living with his girlfriend Liz as of this saturday!

Key points from the evening:-

• Tom was wearing Carol's knickers.


• Will wore his kilt from his 21st birthday in January coz he hasn't done his washing. He did manage to come out colour co-ordinated though and it was great to see his legs!!!


• Tom describing himself as the 'kiss monkey'! and being generally CRAZEEEE!


• Wetherspoons vindaloo from thursday's curry club having an adverse effect on certain members of the boys house!


• Toms addiction to poker both online and otherwise!


• Kosta discovered 'dogs bollocks' beer and chose to drink it! – i have to admit i tested it n it werent bad.


• Tom picking on me coz all I seemed to say all nite was "THats going on the blog" – and here it all is!


• I tried to teach kate a bit of spanish pronunciation of the bag of a cigarette packet. "Fumar perjudica gravemente su salud y la de los que estan en su alrededor." – smoking affects your health greatly your health and those that are around you.]


• Toms incredible hulk drink – half a stella artois and a blue wkd – eew!!!


• Kate was throwing herself over the sofas in an attempt to get upside down pictures.

so all in all it was a fantastic nite n we had a lot of fun. everyone agreed it was nice to see each other and i was pissed off that i had to leave everyone else to get the last bus at 23.13 form city arms to get back to campus!

Oh well, we will do it again sometime soon! Dont forget to look at the pics in the gallery!

Update after one week ….

First thing i've noticed is, its easier to get round campus now i've lost a bit of weight and i know i got loads left to go but went to see diabetes nurse and she's chuffed with how well i've done and she cud see the difference. my trousers are three dress sizes smaller than when i lefthere in february.

My course good. better than i remember the first week of last year!! im loving it. i've seen kosta everyday and im really happy. my loan is through and theres no stopping me. i going for it this year!

i wanna thank two people outside of my great circle of friends for their help this week and over last year, doug kelly and nick seagrave on the sab team at union.they have been great. cheers guys.

right, well im actually gonna do some reading now….! (maybe not a law book, it is friday nite after all!)

I HAVE MY BLOG BACK!!!!!

I HAVE MY BLOG BACK!! THIS IS LIKE MY BABY. SINCE I LEFT UNI I AINT BEEN ABLE TO ACCESS IT AND NOW I HAVE IT BACK IM SO HAPPY!!!! LOADS MORE FOTOS AND COMMENTS TO COME.

THIS YEAR IM STILL IN TOUCH WITH MOST OF MY UNI MATES FROM LAST YR AND MY CRYFIELD KITCHEN 1 CREW BUT NOW IM BACK I CRYFIELD 2 (KITCHEN 4) SO LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS NOW!!!

IM BACK AND HEALTHY, HAPPIER, AND SLIMMER. I LOST 3 STONE 10 POUNDS IN 14 WEEKS OF MY NEW LIFESTYLE AND IM PROUD OF MYSELF EVEN IF I DONT FEEL THAT MUCH DIFFERENT YET. IM BACK AND HAPPY ANDRARING TO GO! THE LAW DEPARTMENT WONT KNOW WHATS HIT THEM WHEN IM WORKING MY ARSE OFF THIS YEAR! WOO-HOO! IM BACK! ITS LIKE HOME.

THANKS FOR EVERYONES GOOD WISHES, MY LUMP IN MY LEG WASNT CANCER, MY DIABETES HAS STABILISED AND I HAVE COME TO TERMS WITH MY GRANS DEATH. I LOST 3 STONE 10 (24kg) I HAD A GOOD MONTH BEFORE I CAME BACK TO UNI TO CHILL OUT AND NOW IM BUZZIN'!

UH OH!

At the end of April, the uni r taking my I.D password off me as im no longer a current member of the uni. gutted. so dont email me at my uni address and i wont be able to update my blog i hope they dont delete my blog!!!

so i'll have to update you all individually. im missin u all so much n the job search is going crap. i been for bloood tests today so i hopefully they'll tell me my tumour is a nice diabetic infection. i will e able to let u know on the blog before end of april or i'll text y'all. email me ur mobile numbers. i have maries, arrans, jodies, kosta's, alex's, kate h's, jasons uk one, mike's and toms. will text u all wen i know. im nervous but getting there. it could be all over with by next thursday. will have to go for biopsy to make sure but still aint heard yet. no news is good news?!! speak soon, luv nik xxx ps jims joke to cheer me up was so funny im gonna publish it here.
