I am a researcher and Project Consultant for the West Midlands Collaborative Commerce Marketplace (www.wmccm.co.uk). I have been involved in several projects in identifying and assessing competencies in engineering SMEs with a view of forming collaborative alliances, virtual organisations. The ideas developed are integral part of the WMCCM and have been tested in more than 500 engineering companies, based in several regions of the UK. I have undertaken several research and consulting posts around Europe and I am an accredited member of the European Federation of National Association of Engineers (FEANI).
