Trust me, you don't want pasta!!
Okay so I have to tell the world about this crazy find. I guess a lot of you have probably eaten SKITTLES, yes those lovely sweets that have "the taste of a rainbow"....a hum…yeah right!!!
Well, it seems that in a 100g of skittles there's…..wait for it…...
89g OF CARBOHYDRATES
That’s FUC** CRAZY!!! That means for every little skittle that you are eating, you are taking in 90% carbs!?!!? Screw pasta, the best source of carbohydrates is skittles, and I feel the need to tell everyone about it. This means you only have to buy 2 packets of skittles (55g a packet) and you'll get your fare share of carbs for the day, plus no washing up or waiting for food to cook…AWESOME!!!
This also got me thinking, if skittles, which I thought was full of sugar and shit, contains this much carbs, then what other foods or sweets contains ridiculous amounts of something unexpected…..anyone?

errr…. sugar is carbs. The 'and shit' makes up the remaining 11%. :–)
If you want maximum carbs for minimum volume of food, try a bowl of sugar – 100% carbohydrate!

Its true, im afraid you are sadly mistaken my friend, sugary carbohydates give you a quick energy boost followed by the inevitable return to lethargy. You need the starchy carbohydrates found in potato, pasta, bread and rice – these are stored in your muscles and used as and when you need them. One of the reasons why paula radcliffe cldnt finish the marathon at the olympics was because she ran out of carbohydrates to burn, your body then turns to burning fat (this is what some athletes call hitting the wall because its so damn painful) and after that it starts to burn off your muscle which is so excruciating even the world record holding marathon runner herself had to stop…
