Computing Reviews now links to full text through the catalogue
Writing about web page http://webcat.warwick.ac.uk/record=b1774411~S15
Computing Reviews will now show you Web Bridge buttons in your search results so that you can check for full text of the item being reviewed through Warwick Library holdings.
So if you read a great review of a book or article in Computing Reviews, you can see if we hold that book or article in Warwick Library.

Improvements to the TechXtra Technology Search Service

TechXtra is provided by the ICBL and Library at Heriot-Watt University.
Using TechXtra, anyone can find articles, books, the best websites, the latest industry news, job announcements, technical reports, technical data, full text eprints, the latest research, thesis & dissertations, teaching and learning resources and more, in engineering, mathematics and computing.
TechXtra searches over 4 million items from 31 collections in technology, and provides several additional services.

- New full text indicators on search results pages, which show the likely availability of full text.

arXiview – arXiv application for the iphone

We recently told you about arXiv, an open access database from Cornell University, holding thousands of articles relating to Computer Science, Biology, Physics, Mathematics and Statistics.
There is now an iphone application so you can access arxiv content on the move.
