PMA Approaches

I just started to read up about leadership for the PMA. Since there are several ways in which this PMA can be tackled, I was considering listing some of them:

  1. What happend during the coaching  session with the MD and the CEO
  2. What is happening as the coaching is occuring?
  3. What are you planning to do when you meet them?

Basically, write before, during or after the event. Any other suggestions?

  1. Interesting ideas Shez. So would writing during the event entail some kind of transcript, before the event a recommendations report, and after the event a summary report. Writing a post event report would have the added dimension of being able to critically evaluate the leadership approaches that you recommended, you could say (read ‘make up’) what worked well, and what not so well, and conclude as to why that may be.
Obviously I wouldn’t focus too heavily on the critique, more on the application of the theory, but it is a nice addition that I’m considering doing.

  2. I do not think these are the only ways to approach the PMA. However, I cannot come up with any additional ones. It seems that you are planning to write post coaching session. I on the other hand plan to do before the coachin session.
    My plan so far is:
    1. Define the characters of CEO and MD (Financial Director)
    2. Briefly identify the challenges facing the company then drill down into specific issues affecting the CEO and the FD
    3. Apply the motivational theories (concentrating on teamwork, expectancy and goal theories)

I am still looking for appropriate management science theories to apply.
