Guardian's blogging in education article

Guardian have a relatively good little article about blogging in education. They interview the ever useful Will Richardson. Nothing particularly new coming out of the article, except perhaps the handy little blog-speak guide at the bottom from www.samizdata.net/blog/glossary.html
- Barking moonbat: Someone on the extreme edge of whatever their ism happens to be
- Blogerati: The intelligentsia of the blogging community
- Blogorrhea: Publishing an unusually high number of blog entries
- Blogosphere:The part of cyberspace occupied by bloggers
- Blogstipation: Blogger 's equivalent of writer 's block
- Flame war: A hostile exchange of views on the internet
- Hitnosis: Continuously checking to see if your blog hit counter has increased.

I am currently suffering from hitnosis. I must be close to knocking Rob (who is probably close to being a barking moonbat) off the top spot…

Any chance of access statistics or counters, Kieran? Or is that in the list of "nice frilly things to do when the basics are done"?

Yes Mark, we certainly want to have some nice stats. It would be nice to have personal stats/graphs/counters as well as global ones, but as you say, low down on the priority list right now.
Best place for queries like this by the way is the blog evaluation forum
