Division One becomes The Championship

Oh you gotta be kidding! The whole fad of changing company names and images to express a new philosophy or whatever it is they want to sell themselves just won't go away.

How could they call it that. I mean, what's next?

• Division One -> The Premiership
• Division Two -> Division One -> The Championship
• Division Three -> Division One? -> MegaSuperLeague1
• Division Four -> Division Two? -> TopTopSuperSoccer?!

Madness.

Time to rob a bank!

Meet you outside Natwest at 6am on Saturday!

In order to connect a new supply to the Students Union sub station it will be necessary to isolate some of the electricity supplies from the sub station.

The following buildings will be affected:-

All of Students Union south
Whitefields Blocks 1,2,3,4,5,15,16 and 17
Rootes Residences M-P
Rootes Residences J-L
Health Centre
International House
Laundry
All Banks

The work will be carried out on SATURDAY 19th JUNE
commencing at 06.00 am and the supplies will be off for approximately 2 hours.

Please let me know as soon as possible if there are any problems.

Image thumbnailing

As you can see, I've got image thumbnailing to work. These are done dynamically so we don't have to store multiple versions of files. Using Sun's Java Advanced Imaging libraries, it makes this quick and easy.

At the moment it will only work with JPG's, but I'll also do PNG's. However, I'm not sure I can do GIF's at the moment because of stupid licensing issues. However, seeing as noone has uploaded anything but JPG's until now, I don't think this'll be a problem.
