More ducklings!
Adolescent ducklings are, in one sense, really awkward. But they’re so sweet. And really bold!
These fellas came right up demanding bread and tried to eat my camera, my fingers, and the plastic bag!
This one sat up on my knee when I was on the grass:
And this one I nabbed when I was on the bench by Claycroft: a couple of pictures for half a slice of bread:

If only they were that tame on the occasions I and others have had to catch a mother duck plus X week old ducklings on the roof of the Maths/Stats building in order to transport them to somewhere with natural sources of food, water to learn to swim in and without the potential for a four story plunge.
