What a night…

Legendary night, guys – a fitting end to my experiences of Top B…

It was great to see so many people out last night, and I was loving the Figaro leisurewear! (Come and see it! It’s going to be awesome!)

Highlights of the night for me (at least, the ones I can remember) included:

-Finding the coolest name in the world: Pitcho Womba Konga

-Lu trying to teach me how to do the Ali G thing where your fingers make a clicking noise.

-Me telling Raquel about fifty times that she is a total legend.

-Drew, the amazing hairy dancing bear.

-Listening to Beyond the Fringe at 3am in Zoe’s room and revisiting the classic Weebl & Bob and RatherGood.com websites for the first time in ages. (Ah, memories of the second year…)

Anant, thanks for letting me crash on your floor, dude. You’re a legend!

Everyone come and see the Big Band Theatre Gig tonight! (Love the jazz…)

:-)

  1. How come I never get to be there when cool things like listening to Beyond the Fringe happen?

  2. Ah Andy! You just have to stay until the end of Top B! then you can listen to Beyond the Fringe :) and all manner of other wonderul and strange cds I have in my collection.

Dude – that is, Jerzy – Big Band were totally totally and completely AWESOME tonight. I really need to listen to great music like that more often – I am cocooned in my (albeit wonderful) world of purely Classical music. But tonight was great; I loved it. And how on earth do you scat like that?!?!?!

  3. I only managed to hear bits of Big Band, cos i was stuck in the studio all night!

But you travelled through, your singing most of all. Sounded good, mate!

REMEMBER: Miss Julie, Arts Centre Studio, Weds thru Sat, 7:45pm.

Come along, and see me attempt to do sound :S

    Dude. Legend. Jerzy!

I wish I could have heard big band but I was stuck in a whore-ass (sorry, chorus) rehearsal, sat at the back of the Butterworth Hall in almost complete darkness. Not fun.
