Bellydance Society IS GO!

Right everyone – you can now join Bellydance Soc online through the SU portal. Wooo! First meet-up this week on Thursday as an intro/taster session, 7.30 til 9pm hopefully in Ramphall 0.04

Also having a great event next week (all things being equal) in Leam involving shisha and shimmies, dance-offs and fun… woo!

Also found an amusing picture of me on someone else’s blog today… well, it’s not actually of me, it’s of Tarbs and his friend, but I’m in the background making a very rude gesture… I think I’m turning into a student after all. Soon, you’ll find me on the floor in Cholo having stolen a traffic cone and drunk a pint of purple or something… then again, maybe not.

First entry… maybe the last…

Oooh… I wasn’t going to start one of these but I’m weak-willed.

And just had to tell the university population what they missed at Vapour on Saturday. It’s not my usual kind of thing and I went under strict instruction that I owed it to myself (and one of the lovely DJs) and… Ralph Myerz and the Jack Herren Band made my week. I can’t describe the sheer energy and joy these Norwegians brought to me and the paltry amount of people there (I’m not complaining – I could get to the bar – but I felt sorry for the band). When the drummer told me to scream like a girl, I screamed like a girl. I danced and gaped and grinned from start to finish and if you weren’t there… more fool you.

I wish I’d bought a tee shirt…
