Wednesday morning
It would be nicer studying out on the terrace if only my village wasn't so crowded by summer visitors....Anyway, this morming I made it up to Les. 8 of OB (not yet with notes taken, though). I just got back my last AFM TMA (85%, is my tutor too good?).
Slowfast progression
Time management is difficult when deadlines approach and several tasks are piling up. Especially if you don't want to give up your favourite leisure activities (which, in the end, contribute to your overall efficiency, I think).
In the last weekend (1-3 August) I was able to complete three OB lessons: it is amazing the efficiency you achieve having an entire day to focus on study. On 30 July I had also submitted last EBE TMA, and AFM's (that one was ready weeks ago, but the tutor was on holiday).
On Friday evening, again with Marco to Castelvecchio. We tried 'our' route, but again we didn't succeed in leading it. Only toproping was possible. Clipping is not so easy, but at the same time we didn't identify any better bolting pattern: it's just that the hard moves are quite concentrated, that's all.
On Sunday, again on the sea with Piero, Cristina, Gabriele. Not a big boat as we had planned (none available), but on the ols cherished Flash Cube. Not a lot of wind, but quite enough to make a lot of spi gybing and a very good opportunity, for me, to improve my skills. We were back on shore quite early, so why not giva a call to Marco and meet at Castelvecchio? That's what we did, actually. We identified a new possible line, placed a belay, and next time we'll equip it.

Another week of study and vacation
Feeling a bit guilty, I flew on Tuesday (1 July) to Sardinia, in order to spend few days with Antonia, Maria Chiara and Carlotta. Anyway I managed to study and there I almost completed MA TMAD, which I submitted today.

I came back from Sardinia on early Saturday, drove to Pescara where I boarded the usual Beneteau 25 'Flash Cube'. With Piero, Cristina, Andrea and Raffaele, we sailed the boat (well, at some point the wind dropped out and we had to switch on the small engine) down to Ortona.
I found a small, quiet hotel in Ortona, where I again managed to work on my TMA late in the night and early on Sunday morning. On the same day, we took part in the regatta held by the local yachting club, ending up among the lasts, as usual.
Sailing back to Pescara we had a quite strong wind, which caused a few problems with the spinnaker, which eventually we put away. I came back home, quite tired and with a sore knee, at about 22.

End of a long day
A long day of meetings, and time spent working on fantastic administrative issues.
The evening brings the achievement of Accounting and Financial Management, Lesson 7, and the beginning of TMAC.
