Just another day, a new machine, and a glass of Jeres

Today I finished some work I had to do in the underground laboratory, concerning some optical fibers...

Polishing the tip of a fiber

Having to transport some equipment, I managed to park my car nearby. This is not so usual, after all, and I thought it deserved a picture.

At the end of the day, sipping a glass of a wonderful Jeres that Ana brought from Spain, I dedicated myself to the maintainance of my brand new IMac, an awesome machine. I only wish I had bought it before....

There are photographs in the family album of us at Jeres. My father decided that we would drive back from Gibraltar instead of flying so that we could make a holiday of it. My sister and I are standing outside a palace in our hand-smocked dresses (my mothers own work) with big bows in our hair.
