Wednesday morning
It would be nicer studying out on the terrace if only my village wasn't so crowded by summer visitors....Anyway, this morming I made it up to Les. 8 of OB (not yet with notes taken, though). I just got back my last AFM TMA (85%, is my tutor too good?).
Slowfast progression
Time management is difficult when deadlines approach and several tasks are piling up. Especially if you don't want to give up your favourite leisure activities (which, in the end, contribute to your overall efficiency, I think).
In the last weekend (1-3 August) I was able to complete three OB lessons: it is amazing the efficiency you achieve having an entire day to focus on study. On 30 July I had also submitted last EBE TMA, and AFM's (that one was ready weeks ago, but the tutor was on holiday).
On Friday evening, again with Marco to Castelvecchio. We tried 'our' route, but again we didn't succeed in leading it. Only toproping was possible. Clipping is not so easy, but at the same time we didn't identify any better bolting pattern: it's just that the hard moves are quite concentrated, that's all.
On Sunday, again on the sea with Piero, Cristina, Gabriele. Not a big boat as we had planned (none available), but on the ols cherished Flash Cube. Not a lot of wind, but quite enough to make a lot of spi gybing and a very good opportunity, for me, to improve my skills. We were back on shore quite early, so why not giva a call to Marco and meet at Castelvecchio? That's what we did, actually. We identified a new possible line, placed a belay, and next time we'll equip it.
