Chill at times of stress

I like the posting cool pics theme that people are engaging in to calm people down. Here's my take on it. I have quite a few landscapes that I could post or suchlike but I thought I'd put one a bit more specific to me, as this really is a picture I find most calming and satisfying:

For me, the dusk sky blend perfectly with the silhouette of the Sea Harrier. I find it calming and inspiring at the same time, a symbol of the depth of human achievement and also the strength of the forces that protect us. Inspirational and calming.

Didn't agree at first, but it is calming!

    Have you ever flown before?

Sadly not in one of those, but I have flown a Fairchild Argus (have a photo if you're interested) which was much fun. I was left feeling like it would have been easier to fly with more power though; you get the impression flying low powered aircraft that you're gently coaxing it and with more power it'd be much easier to fly. Such is the skill of flying though, making the most of what you've got and being smooth! I've backseated in a Fairey Firefly (with a glorious Griffon 37 litre V12) doing aerobatics and I'd love to backseat in a Hawker Hunter one day.

Well I did attribute it as not my idea and didn't attempt to pass it off as my own ;–) Although your forgiveness is always welcome!
