HSDPA FTW!!

Ok, so you'd think that when it comes to getting on the internet, using your mobile network isn't gona be the fastest option available to you. But when the oh-so-wonderful (sorry, my bad, i meant crap) ResNet went down (yet again) on sunday night, I was left with no choice but to use my web-n-walk T-Mobile sim in my UMPC to get my internet fix.

Now to be honest, this isn't an unusual thing, I often use it when I'm out and about and there's no ethernet port or Wi-Fi nearby. Usually it plods along at a very respectable 1.5Mb/s, sometimes upto 3Mb/s which is more than fast enough for most things. However, on sunday night I started getting 4-5Mb/s easily... w00t!! Then out of nowhere I watch the speed slowly creep up to eventually peak at just above 10.5Mb/s. Here's a screenshot just after:

So there you have it, I recommend that everyone should dump ResNet in favour of your favourite mobile network :D

Woo! Everyone else seems to have one of these blog things so I thought I best sign up.lol

If I've got time, and if I have something interesting to post, and more importantly- if I can actually be bothered then I might post other stuff.... I wouldn't hold you breath though;-)
