I’m sure the dog owners first comment to the frustrated rider was “he was just being friendly”

Very irresponsible to allow your dog to stroll out into the path of Le Tour – of course they’d have been an uproar if the dog had been hurt.

News 24’s presenters had the right idea. The sports guy had to read out before the clip that the dog was ok, and the presenters quizzed him afterwards about why no one was concerned at the human’s wellbeing. Personally I just found the clip funny. The dog doesn’t seem to notice.
