A timely reminder of bad behaviour from SRA Awards past…

It wasn't always unmitigated disaster, y'know. RaW was once good, I swear. We got awards for it and everything.

Let me take you back to a time when RaW ruled the earth. Picture the scene: it's November 2003, and the day of the Student Radio Awards is in full swing…

After just two drinks, the previous year's most infamous incident of inebriated man-on-man action threatens to repeat itself with a vengeance…

Cheap onstage blow-job gags come a cropper during the winning speech (Radio 1 head honcho Andy Parfitt will later proclaim me "a very funny man" for the eminently hilarious suggestion that Emma B will be fellating random attendees at the aftershow party – mind you, the fact that he also rates Chris Moyles as the finest broadcaster in Britain pretty much says it all, really)...

Ex-RaW Station Manager Dominic Moret acts like a lairy piss-aunt throughout the night following the legendary Best Station win, before promptly vanishing off the face of the earth…

…during which time I shun much of the festivities to talk about punk rock with a couple of cool chicks from Nottingham. Geek alert! For no apparent reason, in this photo I appear to be pantomiming oral sex with a marrow.
