You can borrow my garden shears. My stephen king book told me that garden shears make a fabulous tool of death.

stephen king is an inventive kind of a guy. roald dahl, however, can be credited with the frozen leg of lamb method, which has class. and taste.

Wasn't this in private eye a few months ago? I think they came up with the joke before just about everyone else jumped on it.

I hated that frozen leg of lamb story – I hate most of Roal Dahl's more "grown-up" stories, they suck. The Twits, however, was brilliant.

I have just returned from the Leeds Festival and wish to report that following an absolutely awesome set from Arcade Fire there was a mass exodus of people desperate to escape from Babyshambles, many of whom wree crying "quick, before Doherty gets here".

He really is such a talentless shit.
I'm thinking of setting up a Doherty stall on eBay selling used tissues that I've wanked into and calling it "Genuine Doherty Smoo!". Should be quite interesting to see the bids pour in from his hordes of clueless, unquestioning sheep-like fans…

I didn't watch Babyshambles at Leeds, instead I had to suffer watching The Killers just to get a decent spot for The Pixies. Thank God The Pixies were good…
30 Aug 2005, 14:02
me too. i hated the entire set because of braindead idiots jumping up and down to 'that song off the radio'.
the pixies wehere worth it though, very much so. they were even better for the boob in gigantic.
30 Aug 2005, 17:28
I'm wondering whether or not that was intentional, like when Metallica used to have an apocalyptic bit of destruction in their show which looked like an accident but was planned…
Pixies were good, Maiden were better.

I've seen Iron Maiden too, though not at either Carling weekend. They rock.
Also, I like most of the short stories by Roald Dahl in the collection "Kiss, Kiss" although a couple did creep me out. Did anyone know "Danny, Champion of the World" began as the last short story in this compelation?
Well it did.
More relevantly, I don't like this moron either. If Doherty doesn't put himself out of our misery soon, someone really should!

I saw Maiden once. They were fucking hilarious. A couple of years later I watched 'Spinal Tap' for the first time and couldn't believe my eyes.

I really didn't like Maiden
Unfortunately, I was so shattered that I was asleep for most of The Pixies, asleep standing up, no less. Now that's rock'n'roll. Bit of a shitter as they were one of the bands I was most looking forward to seeing.

Pixies F'ing Ruled. Maiden? Well all I know was that I chose to go and see Mylo, and danced like a f*cktard with a glow stick with a bunch of caned teenagers off their tits on pro plus

Was it like looking in a mirror mr pro plus?

In fact, Peter is a talent of astounding depth and range. As an ambassador, he shows the young of this country that it's ok to be unreliable, fucked up by drugs and incapable of playing your instruments because you can still make the front cover of the NME just for taking a shit on a CD and sending it to the editor.
Power to the people! New Labour should celebrate this paragon of populist power!
Doherty, you fucked up cunt, we salute you!
