Welcome

Welcome to the project blog for 'Biomedical Visualisations and Society'

'Biomedical Visualisations and Society' is a series of workshops for early career researchers to explore the social and political implications of medical visualisation technologies such as from dissection to MRI, ultrasound, and virtual reality. You can find out more on the project website.

The series is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council ESRC.

The aim of the blog is to provide a tool for participants in the workshops to keep in touch, continue their discussions and share resources such as calls for papers, conference announcements, and new book announcements. We hope you will find it a useful tool.

Only participants in the project have permission to make new posts to the blog. Access to some of the posts will be restricted to those people who have attended one or more of the workshops although individual 'bloggers' are encouraged to make public posts where appropriate -- such as calls for papers or conference announcements.

If you have any queries, please email Julie Palmer.
