Matlab Mayhem

About 95 hours left until the deadline for DMS. Situation as it stands is that Mike hasn't started, Simon hasn't started, Sid hasn't started, and Patrick hasn't started. Most concerningly of all, I haven't started.

We're looking at an image processing thing that compares people's fingerprints to see whether or not they're the same person as themselves. Except that if they turn their finger around it then appears that they are a different person. If you think I'm talking rubbish then you can check it out here. Anyway, it's up to us to figure out how this method works, program it, and run it on sample fingerprints to get some answers which the lecturer already knows. And it makes up exactly 1% of my MMath degree.

All of which means that I'm now learning MatLab again. Where is Oleg Z when you need him?
